[Case Study: Food] Robot Automation in Hot Pot Soup Manufacturing

Robots pack soft bags of soup for hot pots! Workers are freed from continuous fatigue!

Here is a case study introduced to Chongqing Qiaotou Food, a famous manufacturer of hot pot soup. The manufacturing process is complex, involving pre-treatment, stir-frying, steaming, and cooling. Ingredients are mixed with seasonings and additives, and finally packed into plastic soft bags, resulting in weights of 130 to 400 grams. The company produces these bags in large quantities, and the management, which is always seeking higher levels of automation, considered further streamlining this packaging process. As a solution, we proposed the use of the "Stäubli TS60 4-axis SCARA robot." As a result, we successfully automated the packaging process for the mass-produced hot pot soup. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
